In to the Wild… Quick!
It’s Easter Holidays for kids and that means they are off school for 2 weeks (lucky bunch), but what that also means for us is a lot of imagination for things to do when it’s raining outside and a lot of pressure to spend every minute of the day outside if it’s sunny! Although the latter would probably apply to the entire Scottish population… And so we were blessed with some real sunny (uninterrupted by rain) day on Monday so we hit the road for the west coast of Scotland, because that’s what people do here when it’s hot – go the beach, wear shorts and sandals and some even take their tops off! But that’s a different story about Glasgow!
And here we go – in to the wild with our sandals and sun hats on, backpacks and cameras, snacks and sunnies packed in to the car playing “I spy with my little eye” for over 2 hours and loving every minute of it. What’s funny is that we got ready to leave on our little Sunny April adventure in 10 minutes (so that we don’t miss the Sun) – no kidding, lippy was put on en route! My pastel pink “sliders” I’ve been desperate to wear for ages now, but this hand-printed t-shirt was sitting on top of my drawers as a new addition to my wardrobe and to be honest was a perfect choice for our outing as it kinda goes with our wild theme! I love how things come together sometimes perfectly – I needed a new good quality white tee with a quirky print – and along come the amazing new brand Abetwix, who hand-print their unisex tee’s and jumpers so I was lucky enough to have one of their best designs, and besides, who doesn’t love a day in a new great quality white tee and jeans? What’s more – I needed a canvas bag for our trip and guess what? Abetwix sent me a hand-printed bag with my t-shirt delivery… What a lucky girl am I?
You’ll be seeing this t-shirt in more future posts here, but in the meantime , go check out Abetwix on ASOS Marketplace and follow the guys on Instagram to discover more about their cool brand and designs…
